Who I am Now!

Hi! My name’s SEANG MEAN I’m 17 years old now I’m studying at 12 grade at Samdech Hunsen Phnom Penh Thmey High School. I’m currently living at Leadership Academy with around 20 scholars.

Better Than Yesterday

I have been living at Leadership Academy for more than 2 years. Unexpectedly, they are really friendly and helpful. When I first lived at LA, I felt that I have a big warm from them and from LA. Leadership Academy is helping me a lot to grow up as a person who has soft skill and hard skill. First, I used to be scared of talking with people, and I was not a friendly person. However, when I join LA, I am taught to believe in myself. Now I’m more self-confident, and I really love public speaking in LA. Public speaking are for all of the students to talk, to share new ideas and everything that we have. This is to ensure all students have self-confidence to talk more and more. Sometimes, students are sent to attend workshops to get more knowledges and new ideas. Then, we can share in LA. In LA, students are encouraged to volunteer for the community, and I am a member of Oral volunteer Group. When we do the community services, we learn new experiences from teamwork and boost the confident to share knowledge with children and students. I have improved my English a lot. We are having English class with Teacher Chomnan Sok and other teachers in LA. I can speak with foreigners, and English can help me learn better from the internet. 

Big Dream for the Community

After I graduate this year, I’m going to learn Computer Programming. I think I’ll go to the Royal University of Phnom Penh or SETEC Institute. When I graduate from university, I hope to teach computer to children in my community.
