Five months of covid-free in-person classes

More good news for these troubled times. Here’s our second good news story:

Our school has maintained over five months of full in-person covid-free classes. We supplied masks and hand-sanitizer when in-person classes resumed last September 15th. Our staff monitors and replaces PPE as needed. Click here to see in-person computer classes.

Last August, our English/computer teacher Chhorn Saveng took the initiative to hold online English classes for the few incoming 7th graders who had access to a smart phone, holding classes for 13 girls and 4 boys.

School is the one place in villages where students can form strong lasting friendships while receiving an education that can make a real difference in their lives and the lives of their families.

This year, we’re providing scholarships for 34 7th-12th girls whose families’ poverty had forced them to drop out. Families receive a monthly stipend based on their daughter’s acceptable attendance and grades. Each scholarship is $15/month and $180/year. If you would like to help fund these girls’ scholarship, just click on the Give button.
