Who I am Now!
Hello! My name is Doung Netra. And I’m about to start my new life at University soon. I am going to pursue the degree in Tourism Management at Royal University of Phnom Penh.
Better Than Yesterday
I have been living in Leadership Academy for more than 3 years. I have benefited a lot from LA Program, English Class, Leadership Training, Sharing Knowledge Sessions, Community Service Projects, and House Meeting. I used to be introvert and a scaredy cat. I am thankful to all above programs; I can grow as a friendly and courageous person.
Why Tourism Management?
When I hear Tourism, I’m so excited. Now, I like to interact with people and confident enough to communicate in English. Also, I love to travel and learn about different places and cultures.
Big Dream for the Community
After I graduate, I hope I can learn enough to start community-based tourism. This will provide opportunities to local people to earn income and present their culture to the visitors. Plus, community-based tourism actively engage the local in running and leading the project, so they can have the autonomy and decide on what is right for their community.
